This week sees the last redundant masonry wall removed from the lowered basement area.
Once fully installed the new steel support will open the way for a new reinforced concrete floor slab to the lower ground level. This floor slab will also encase the underfloor heating and by incorporating the underfloor heating in the structural floor slab, the architect has achieved the best possible floor to ceiling heights.
