Sean and Steve founded Acumen in June 2004.

Operating in an industry often unfairly mis-represented through the action of a few ‘rogues’, we set about to create a completely professional, performance conscious, customer-focussed “one-stop-shop” building contractor.

Acumen has been founded on the principles of impeccable work standards and the drive to take stress away from the customer through acting as a single service provider, prime contractor and project manager.

We encourage constant open communication to achieve mutual understanding and trust; an approach, which we feel, is the reason so much
of our business is gained through personal recommendations.

We are fully committed to quality assurance and promote quality values throughout our organisation.

We are able to source specialist materials from afar such as unique kitchen surfaces, natural stone or exotic woods. We do not supply from a small catalogue that maximises our profit margin, but allow you to specify your
exact solution, which we will endeavour to achieve.
