Sean and Steve founded Acumen in 2004 on the principles of first-rate service and professionalism; Acumen has always sought to exceed expectations.

By acting as a single service provider, prime contractor and project manager we embrace responsibility and take ownership to deliver; on time and on budget.

We encourage constant open communication to achieve mutual understanding and trust; an approach, which we feel, is the reason almost all of our business is gained through personal recommendations.

Our team centres around an experienced core of long-serving site managers who’s combined experience provide the knowledge and leadership to make even the most challenging project run smoothly.

We provide a detailed programme at the pre-construction phase which sets out when each element will start and finish. This includes a list of key dates which require client action thereby ensuring all fittings, fixtures and design decisions are made in good time.

We work alongside many London based architects’ practices and regularly receive invitations for competitive tenders and in some cases, negotiated tenders where we advise on the costs of schemes as they are being drawn!
